Back in July we showcased a preview of the joint project between retail boutique Leftfoot Taiwan and Vans. The collaborative effort featured design and artwork from part Leftfoot owner and superb artistic talent Jahan Loh. The kicks will remain the same from earlier samples, featuring black patent leather uppers with dragon inspired embossed detailing and purple accenting, representing honor and royalty in China. This special collabo represents China’s first Vans Vault release which will receive a slimmer cut than the usual SK8-Hi. Only 200 pairs will me made exclusive to Hong Kong and Taipei with the first 50 people in line at the Leftfoot release receiving a free Leftfoot x Vans t-shirt.

Files reports that The Nike Air Yeezy (Kanye West signature shoes) will release in the spring of 2009. Sneaker Files has confirmed that the majority of Air Yeezy styles and colorways will be limited releases. The Air Yeezy is inspired by Kanye West’s favorite shoes, notably the Air Jordan III (3) (used for the Yeezy mid-sole makeup). The Air Yeezy is highlited with glow in the dark accents which streak through the Nike Swoosh and Jordan III inspired mid-sole. Sir Tinker Hatfield is pictured (above) wearing a sample of the Air Yeezy.

The annual global campaign, now in its fourth year, supports UNICEF programs for orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS in sub – Saharan Africa.
